Explore the philosophical origin of Yoga's pranayama practices, the core philosophies and learn how to start incorporating these techniques into your own routine.
Prana and Chakra
Prana is the life-energy or life-principle of the universe. There are three principal channels through which this life-energy flows. Together we will explore all three in detail.
Pranayama and mantra
Mantra is at the core of many prana vidya techniques and we will cover them in detail. You will learn the correct application of mantras, within the specialized form of prana vidya.
Together we will practice Yoga Mudras for health, along with pranayama, which enlivens the prana flow in the body and energize various parts of the body.
During this retreat, you will be served nutritious daily vegetarian/vegan meals prepared as per the Ayurvedic principles. You will begin your mornings with fresh lemon& ginger tea to awaken and detoxify the body, followed with breakfast which includes organic local fruit salads, wholesome porridge, wholegrain toast and a variety of cereals. Lunch and dinner would consist of many different vegetarian soups, traditional curries, rice bowls, salads and homemade breads. Teas and non-alcoholic drinks will be available throughout the day.
