Our Pranayama Teacher Training in Rishikesh invites you to explore the ancient wisdom of breath. This profound breathing course will not only deepen your understanding of Pranayama, but also inspire you to explore the spiritual connection between the breath and the mind.
Prana – the life force – flows within us, sustaining our very existence. The word Pranayama can therefore be understood as ‘expansion of awareness of life force’, a practice that utilizes powerful breathing techniques to unlock deeper states of awareness. Nowadays, many kinds of modern breathwork techniques have emerged from traditional Pranayama. However, at Vedic Yoga Academy we remain dedicated to preserving its authentic Vedic roots, honoring the wisdom passed down through generations.
