What you can expect:

Our Yoga Nidra Teacher Training Course in India is one of the most healing programs and will bring you closer towards the understanding of this yogic sleep practice. This profound Yoga Nidra certification course in Rishikesh offers you the opportunity to experience the state of being ‘half asleep and half awake’ while exploring new dimensions of awareness. At Vedic Yoga Academy, our experienced Yoga Nidra teachers will share the traditional techniques alongside their scientific foundations, leading you into deeper states of the mind.

How does Yoga Nidra work?

Yoga Nidra allows us to relax the mind through the body, guiding us into a state of stillness and deep inner peace. By unifying different techniques, practitioners aim to reach a unique state of consciousness that can be scientifically measured through the generation of delta waves in the brain. With regular practice, this approach allows you to maintain awareness while entering new levels of consciousness.

What are the benefits of Yoga Nidra?

The effects of Yoga Nidra are immense, as modern science has demonstrated. During practice, the parasympathetic nervous system is activated, inducing a state of deep rest, self-healing, and blissful silence. However, the benefits extend beyond the body – Yoga Nidra also nurtures the mind. Even brief sessions of Yoga Nidra help to dissolve energetic blockages and bring sensations of euphoria and bliss, ultimately guiding you on a transformative journey towards the inner self.
