Understanding of sleep states: Sleep is an important part of our daily routine—we all spend about one-third of our time doing it. Quality sleep – and getting enough of it at the right times — is as essential to survival as food and water. There are two basic types of sleep: rapid eye movement (REM) sleep and non-REM sleep (which has three different stages). Each is linked to specific brain waves and neuronal activity. We will cover each in detail for you to have a wholesome understanding of the same
Discussing and addressing individual sleep problems: There are many sleep disorders from which people suffer but don’t realize that the same is not normal. We will cover each one of them for you to identify the same in order to correctly diagnose and address once you are teaching mindfulness to your students in future
Yoga Nidra is essentially broken down into five-stage process that begins with a body scan to engage one’s physicality. Together we shall cover each stage in detail so you can experience and understand these five steps in action.
The four states of Consciousness first appeared in the sacred Indian book of Mandukya Upanishad. You will learn all about the stages in detail and how to attain them with the help of Yogic Nidra.
