Getting enough of it at the right times is as essential to survival as food and water. There are different stages of sleep where each is linked to specific brain waves and neuronal activity. We will introduce the states of awareness and how they´re researched on on modern times.
Discussing and addressing individual sleep problems: There are many sleeping disorders from which people suffer. We will teach you to identify disordered sleeping and how to address it .
The theory of Yoga Nidra: Yoga Nidra is a state of mind that you can enter after ling time of spiritual practice. We will teach you the philosophical background and the all the steps that have to be taken on the way to this deep state of mind.
Understanding of the four states of consciousness: The four states of Consciousness first appeared in the sacred Indian book of Mandukya Upanishad. You will learn all about the stages in detail and how to attain them with the help of Yogic Nidra.
Guided Yogic Nidra Practices
Makarasana – Learn how to do Makarasana or the Crocodile Pose, which will improve your breathing pattern. It is a very effective and fundamental practice to establish relaxed and healthy abdominal breathing.
Diaphragmatic breathing – Understand and practice how to do diaphragmatic breathing, or deep breathing, which is breathing done by contracting the diaphragm, a muscle located horizontally between the thoracic cavity and abdominal cavity.
Shavasana practice – This looks a very simple exercise to do, but in reality could be one of the hardest since you need to completely relax your body and mind. Learn how to do it efficiently while avoiding the pitfalls
Excise without movement – How to do basic Yoga exercise without moving much of your joints.
