Rahul ji is a committed Yoga teacher who is always been a seeker. He is passionate all things about Yoga and meditation and have had holistic experience of all aspects of yogic knowledge. His childhood days were spent in a humble village near the capital of India, where he got the first knowledge of Yoga from his family who encouraged him to dig deeper and explore more. He was pursuing a successful career as a concept designer in an MNC and was studying ancient texts and scriptures for personal growth, outside of work. Soon, he realized that his true calling was somewhere else and a series of experiences inspired him to leave his old life and go on the quest of exploring the sacred yogic world.
He started life learning at the Ashram of Swami Rama, strengthening his spiritual practices while comprehensively understanding Yoga and meditation as per the Himalayan Tradition, under the guidance of the renowned master Swami Veda Bharati. He completed his Yogic education in a Gurukulam (traditional spiritual school) post which he became a part of the Himalayan Yoga Tradition of teachers. Since then he has shared his knowledge of Yoga and meditation in ashrams across the world, to numerous students in Yoga schools, and international Yoga festivals. Rahul ji has gained knowledge and experience of many Yoga paths including Hatha Yoga, Dhyana Yoga, Raja Yoga, and Kriya Yoga. From early age, Elli ji has been curious about the core questions of life, its function and purpose. She studied human biology at the University of Erlangen and Vienna, in order to get a deeper understanding of the structure of the human mind and body. After earning her MSc with a focus on brain research and behavioral endocrinology, she fostered her passion for a holistic lifestyle by learning Traditional Chinese Medicine, specifically western herbs, acupuncture techniques, hypnosis and lucid dreaming to gain proficiency in healing techniques. After studying Yoga in India, she realized her true calling and understood that all questions asked in sciences can be answered within oneself.
To deepen her understanding, she embarked in a journey through India, Sri Lanka and Nepal where she acquired knowledge on many Yogic traditions while living a strict yet traditional Sadhaka (student) lifestyle, in ashrams. Through her personal experiences, she cultivated the healing powers of the mind and healed various “chronic” diseases without the assistance of medications. Elli ji is compassionate for all beings and wants to share the benefits of Yogic knowledge with the ones who seek it. Her approach of western sciences combined with ancient eastern methods, provides a practical holistic approach, where her students can take life lessons and improve on their life quality, reduce suffering, and find a compassionate way of living.
